State Representative Tim Barhorst is currently serving his first term as State Representative for the 85th Ohio House District, which includes Shelby and Champaign Counties and the southern portion of Logan County. He is a true conservative, a small businessman, and a community leader born and raised in Fort Loramie, Ohio.

Representative Barhorst is the founder and President of Business Partners, Inc., which serves the Ohio and Midwest marketplaces as a full-service comprehensive employee benefit and financial planning group. He has been a licensed Ohio Life and Health agent and Series 6 securities registered representative for almost three decades.

Additionally, he has served as the Legislative Chairman for the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters and Media Relations Chairman for the National Association of Health Underwriters Midwest Region. Proud to invest in his community, Representative Barhorst also owns and operates Behm’s Restaurant on Grand Lake Saint Marys.

Representative Barhorst is a member of Saint Michael’s Church in Fort Loramie and enjoys watching his son Alex play football, hockey, baseball, dirt biking, boating, live music, and supporting Ohio State Athletics.
