State Representative Mark Hiner is serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 98th House District which includes all of Coshocton and Holmes counties and eastern Knox County.

Rep. Hiner is the Vice Chair of the House Arts, Athletics, and Tourism Committee for the 136th General Assembly. He is also serving in the House Agriculture, Natural Resources and Small Businesses Committees. 

The Representative has a degree in Broadcast Engineering Technology, an MBA and has built several successful businesses from the ground up. He’s also a member of the Buckeye Firearms Association and National Rifle Association and is a strong proponent of the 2nd Amendment. 

He lives in Knox County with his wife Veronica. The pair has been married for 33 years and have two children, three grandchildren and two grandpups.
